Funeral Director – Blackley
Pauline joined us in 2014, with more than a decades’ experience behind her. Her favourite part of the job is taking care of the deceased and looking after families in their hour of need. In her spare time, she enjoys raising money for charity, having cycled from Manchester to Blackpool on an 88-mile route and taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge. She also enjoys furniture restoration, decorating and crafts such as crochet and knitting.
Trainee Funeral Director – Blackley
Over the past decade since joining Michael Kennedy Funeral Directors, Marie has worked her way up to become a Trainee Funeral Director. She cares very much for the families she looks after who need her support following a bereavement. Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her large family and walking the dog.
Funeral Arranger – Blackley
Gemma has a degree in fashion design and joined the family business after she left university, more than a decade ago. In her spare time, she enjoys helping out at the local food bank, the Lalley Centre, and likes customising clothing and making accessories. She also spends time looking after her two nieces.
Central Administrator – North West
Jean joined the company in 2008 and is now our Central Administrator North West. She had previously been in retail and enjoys working with people. She loves charity work and throws herself into a wide variety of activities, including helping out at St John Bosco’s social club. She helps with Christmas dinners for people on their own and raises money for the Wood Street Mission. In her spare time, she likes travelling, gardening, being with her family and walking the dog.
Funeral Arranger – Collyhurst
Luke joined Michael Kennedy Funeral Services in 2012 after suffering a bereavement himself growing up. He gets a great deal of job satisfaction from helping people and feels it is important to give his wholehearted attention to every bereaved family and remember that everyone is someone’s loved one. He prides himself on empathy, dignity and respect and the satisfaction of knowing he has given a family’s loved one the best possible send off.
